Hotel in the snow - at 1675 metres altitude
Hotel Adler has been a part of Warth for the past 300 years. Now, thanks to the cable cars and ski lifts which have sprung up around the hotel in more recent times, winter guests can stay directly on the ski slopes of Warth-Schröcken, the snowiest part of the whole Arlberg area.
Over the years the grandiose mountain landscape has shaped Hotel Adler and the people in it, ensuring real alpine hospitality. The ancient house walls, the wine cellar and the lovely old parlour; the state of the art apartments and the streamlined restaurants - all reflect the passing of time and guests' changing needs. These days it's all about feeling welcome. A good feeling, subtle, personal, low-key. It's something you can't quite put your finger on, but it just feels right.
Our breakfast buffet has something for everyone, and each evening the kitchen conjures up yet another gastronomic gem: typical Walser valley food, and specialities from the Bregenzerwald, on the buffet, or served to you at your table. Adults can enjoy the saunas, steam bath, water beds and gym; children have their own play areas and special VIP treatment in the ski school. But it's not luxury, five-star status and commendations that set the Hotel Adler apart from the rest. Enjoying the sunniest spot on the Hochtannberg Pass, deep in snow and set against a stunning backdrop of mountains, it's much more about the incredible ambience. Enjoy a memorable day on the ski slopes, walking or cross-country skiing. Or else take an off-piste tour with the hotel director, also our local mountain guide! Return home and relax on the water beds, while the children build a snowman by the last rays of the setting sun. Then sit by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine. The glowing faces around you are all the proof you need - this place is special!
